June 7, 2013 witnessed the day when Men’s Tennis No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic faced No. 3 seed Rafael Nadal for the 35th time during the Semi-final round of Roland Garros 2013.
Being a RafaN, I was clearly praying and cheering for his success for the whole time. But Nole put up a good fight in the 4 and 1/2 hours of their match. But Nadal, won in the end with 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7, and 9-7.
Thanks to Youtube user Jony Boy for creating this video of snippets of the highlights of the 35th match of Rafa and Nole.
This Sunday, Nadal faces off fellow Spaniard No. 4 seed David Ferrer this Sunday. If Rafa wins in the final, he will make history by becoming the only man with eight French Open titles.
Vamos Rafa! King of Clay!
Nice game to watch. I think Rafa will do it again.
