For years, todo effort si Esteemed Journo na ayusin at i-reinvent ang image ng News Department. Trailblazing ang mga programa. Naging high-tech ang Department sa kanyang pangangasiwa. Lalong hinangaan si Esteemed Journo.

To fight for equality is the moral thing to do. And by equality I mean the right of any person regardless of gender, age, sex, and religion to enjoy rights that everyone else is enjoying.
How moral is it really to enjoy certain kinds of liberties if others are not enjoying these liberties as well?
Kindness. Compassion. Empathy. Morality must be grounded on these virtues. How can one be human if we are preventing others from being human?
June 26 will go down as one of the most remarkable days in history.
And this year, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) legalized same-sex marriage across all 50 states of the United States of America.
What a great day to finally realize – at least in the US – one of the stipulations in the Preamble of the Charter of UN that says: “to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small…”
Hooray for this big step to equality and respect for human rights and dignity.
